i had a flashback
i was wandering around asbury park nj over the weekend and had a flashback. yes, i felt like i was in 1975 again. (a loooong time ago for me.) I found a place named the silverball museum. this place had at least a hundred pinball machines in it one of which was my all time favorite - wizard. i was like - wow man! and guess what - on my first play of this machine in a few decades i scored enough for a free game. *!crack!* that sound of getting a free game was fun. for ancient folks such as myself pinball was the game back in the day - not video games.
if you were into pinball back in the day - you owe it to yourself to go visit this silver ball museum place. below is a photo of the wizard machine inside this place. does anyone recognize the machine to the right from the very small bit of it in the pic?
dark or light?
when i was a kid we might ask one another - ginger or mary ann? this was a question regarding who you would rather “spend time with” from some options available on the show gilligan’s island. (you could ask the cartoon version too - betty or wilma - which of course were references to a couple of flintstone characters.)
but this is the late 2011 edition of the question “dark or light” in general. I am not asking if would rather “spend time” with coco or kim k. specifically - i am asking if you prefer the dark look (kim k.) or the light look (coco). there is no right or wrong.

my first post on tumblr
tumblr eh? well since i am letting my domain name expire on 1/1/12 i figured i would put together a site that doesn’t cost me anything so i can still have some kind of online presence. my kid tells me tumblr is pretty cool and since i don’t have the first clue as to what is cool these days i will take her word for it.
you will find a wide array of stuff on here as time goes by. i may pop a post up here about how to do something in excel or my picks for this weeks games in the nfl. who knows? (who cares, right?) i may post some links to sites i like or maybe even create some mildly amusing original content. who knows - who cares.
